Bentley Korea unveiled the Continental GT ‘Korea Edition’ model in collaboration with artist Hae-taim Han on March 26 at the Bentley Tower in Dongdaemun, Seoul.

The Korea Edition model is a limited production of 10 units that combines Bentley’s bespoke infinite possibilities with the beauty of modern Korean art and Bentley’s traditional aesthetics. This limited edition has been completed through the collaboration of Bentley’s bespoke division, Mulliner, and Korean abstract painter Hae-taim Han.

Bentley Mulliner is the personalization department where you can create your own Bentley with an astounding 46 billion combinations. Even if Bentleys appear the same on the outside, their interiors can be distinctly different, making each vehicle one-of-a-kind in the world.

On stage, the ‘Korea Edition’ model based on the Continental GT strikes a pose. The Continental GT, released in 2003, encapsulates the values Bentley aims for. The powertrain features a V8 4.0-liter twin-turbo engine producing 550 horsepower and a maximum torque of 78.5 kg.m, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and enhanced with an electronic active rolling system. The Korea Edition model sports a vertical radiator grille, and the moldings around the headlamps and tail lamps are finished in black high-gloss color.

Additionally, a special carbon body kit, ‘Styling Specification’, handcrafted by Bentley artisans, comes as standard, featuring color accent strips that highlight unique details. The headrests of the seats, nameplates, and dashboard incorporate bands of various colors, transforming the car into not just a vehicle but a work of art. Ventilation vents are accentuated with band-shaped purple decals, allowing customers to always admire their own piece of art.

The collaboration with artist Hae-taim Han reflects the increasing percentage of female customers for the Continental GT. Christian Schlick, Executive Director of Bentley Korea, noted that “the female purchase ratio of the Continental GT has reached around 30%.” This means that one in three buyers of the Continental GT is a woman. Additionally, Schlick mentioned, “the proportion of female customers for the Continental GT is on the rise,” and this surge in female clientele has encouraged the showcasing of the Korea Edition model through Mulliner.

The price of the Continental GT Korea Edition is 463.1 million won, and it will be delivered to customers sequentially.
