On the 25th, Mercedes-Benz Korea announced the launch of its new warranty extension product, ‘Warranty Plus Extra.’ This offering is designed to support long-term vehicle ownership by allowing customers to enroll even after the official warranty period has expired.

The ‘Warranty Plus Extra’ service can be purchased at any desired time after the official service warranty has ended, provided the vehicle is within 7 years of its initial registration date and has traveled less than 150,000 km. This product offers warranty repair benefits for powertrains, bodywork, general components, and also includes emergency roadside assistance and reimbursement for comprehensive vehicle inspections.

With the newly launched ‘Warranty Plus Extra,’ Mercedes-Benz customers can maintain warranty coverage for up to 8 years post-purchase, enabling them to drive with peace of mind over the long term. Both new and used Mercedes-Benz vehicle owners can join this plan at their convenience, allowing for cost-effective access to official service.

As the sales of new and used Mercedes-Benz vehicles increase, the company aims to provide this service so that customers can extend their warranty as needed, unlike before when joining was difficult after the warranty expiry. This allows more customers to experience high-quality service in official service centers nationwide.

Customers can enroll in the ‘Warranty Plus Extra’ after a preliminary inspection and review for any accident history if the vehicle registration date exceeds 3 years but is still within 7 years and 150,000 km. Prices for joining vary based on the vehicle, ranging from 1.3 million won to 7.98 million won.

‘Warranty Plus Extra’ is available for enrollment at 75 official Mercedes-Benz service centers nationwide.
