BorgWarner will also unveil its new direct current (DC) charging stations. These fast charging stations provide a wide range of power from 120 kilowatts (kW) to 360 kilowatts (kW) and are optimized for public charging and rapid charging solutions for commercial electric vehicles.
Paul Farrell, BorgWarner’s Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), stated, “We are pleased to participate in the ‘IAA Transportation’ again this year, following last year, and view it as a valuable opportunity to demonstrate BorgWarner’s technologies for clean, efficient commercial vehicles across battery electric, hybrid, and internal combustion engine platforms. We look forward to discussing technological advancements and our efforts to drive innovation in the commercial vehicle market with clients, media representatives, and other visitors on-site.”
Alongside the LFP battery packs and new DC charging stations, BorgWarner will introduce a range of advanced commercial vehicle technologies, including inverters, electric motors, high-efficiency turbochargers, thermal management solutions such as battery coolers, 800V electric fans, and exhaust recirculation technologies. These cutting-edge technologies are designed to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of commercial vehicles while meeting the growing demands of the evolving mobility industry.
