From September 1st, Hyundai customers purchasing electric cars can access ‘EV Every Care +’ which includes EV assurance inspections.

Hyundai Motors announced on the 3rd (Tuesday) the launch of the integrated care program ‘EV Every Care +’ that takes responsibility for customers’ EV lives from purchase to resale.

This program is intended to actively alleviate customers’ concerns about electric vehicles and enhance their satisfaction with EV use, thereby promoting the adoption of electric vehicles in Korea.

‘EV Every Care +’ adds new benefits to the existing ‘EV Every Care’ program, including ▲EV assurance inspection service ▲EV warranty extension ▲provision of dedicated EV tires, and expands the duration of the new vehicle exchange support service.

From September 1st onwards, any customer purchasing a new Ioniq 5, Ioniq 5 N, Ioniq 6, or Kona Electric vehicle can make use of ‘EV Every Care +’.

Hyundai has also introduced a new free safety check service for electric vehicles called ‘EV Assurance Inspection’. Any customer who purchases a Hyundai electric vehicle and joins Blue Membership can receive safety inspections for up to 8 years, once a year, with a maximum of 15 types of safety checks including ▲PE room ▲general vehicle inspections at no charge.

In addition, Hyundai is now providing an ‘EV warranty extension’ that combines body care services with ‘Warranty Plus’. (Available only for individuals and sole proprietors, not for commercial taxis and rent/lease)

Customers can benefit from the body care service, which provides free repairs for exterior damage to the vehicle’s body within 1 year or if driven less than 20,000 km, and additionally receive the ‘Warranty Plus’ worth 350,000 won, which extends the manufacturer’s warranty period (3 years/60,000 km) by an additional 2 years/40,000 km, totaling up to 5 years or 100,000 km for general parts replacement.

Furthermore, Hyundai has extended the new vehicle exchange support period from 1 year to 2 years after delivery, which financially supports customers for any losses due to total loss accidents and related expenses when exchanging to a new vehicle.

Customers who agree to the program upon new vehicle delivery can receive support for the losses of the damaged vehicle and registration costs for the new vehicle, excluding total loss insurance payments when exchanging for a Hyundai vehicle. (No restrictions on model or powertrain, but does not apply to Genesis or commercial vehicles when exchanging for a Hyundai passenger/RV)

Additionally, customers will receive 2 free dedicated EV tires upon purchasing an electric vehicle and a guarantee of 55% of the purchase price when selling a used car (for individual customers only), supporting customers throughout the entire life cycle of their electric vehicle from purchase to resale.
