Volkswagen Korea is conducting a ‘Special Free Safety Check’ for the ID.4s officially imported and sold in the domestic market.
This special free safety check aims to reassure Volkswagen customers regarding vehicle safety amidst rising concerns about electric vehicle fires.
Since last December, Volkswagen Korea has been conducting a special battery check for a limited number of ID.4 vehicles, which is now being expanded to include all ID.4s and will continue year-round until the end of 2025.
The special free safety check applies to all ID.4 models officially sold in Korea. Customers wishing to have their electric vehicles inspected due to concerns over EV fires, safety incidents, or any unusual signs can visit any Volkswagen official service center nationwide.
