Starting from October 17 to 20, the only LPGA event in Korea, the ‘BMW Ladies Championship 2024’, will be held at Seowon Valley CC in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, and gallery entry tickets are now available for purchase.

The BMW Ladies Championship has decided to be held for the second consecutive year in the metropolitan area, ensuring excellent accessibility, which is expected to attract many golf fans to the venue. As the only tournament in Korea where one can see world-class players and Olympic medalists in one place, interest in the event is already high.

Tickets for the BMW Ladies Championship 2024 can be purchased through the customized lifestyle platform ‘BMW Vantage’ application. BMW Vantage offers integrated benefits across mobility, travel, culture, and more, and tickets for this event can be paid using BMW Coins, which function like cash. Throughout the tournament period, tournament and event information can also be easily accessed through the application.

When purchasing tickets, early bird promotion benefits will be offered based on the sales period. The first early bird period runs from August 1 to August 15, offering up to a 30% discount on all types of tickets (weekday, weekend, all-day) depending on the BMW Vantage membership level. The second early bird period, from August 16 to August 31, offers up to a 25% discount, while tickets go on sale at regular prices starting September 1 until the tournament.

Additionally, tickets are divided into two categories: ‘BMW Excellence Class Package’ and ‘General Admission’ to suit the services provided. Holders of the BMW Excellence Class ticket can enjoy the game with special catering services at the BMW Excellence Lounge located on the 18th hole green, and various luxury VIP services, including separate VIP parking and a chauffeur service using the ultra-high-performance BMW M model XM, will be offered.

For general spectators, a rich variety of experiences and activities will be provided. An Oktoberfest-themed atmosphere featuring beer, sausages, and food services will be available at the Gallery Plaza, along with an exhibition area showcasing various luxury premium BMW models.

Han Sang-yoon, the CEO of BMW Korea, stated, “As we celebrate the fifth edition of the ‘BMW Ladies Championship 2024’, we are making thorough preparations to enhance the satisfaction of the gallery visitors based on our accumulated know-how. We hope for great interest in this competition, where a war of stars will unfold, suitable for the reputation of being the only LPGA event in Korea,” he said.

With a total prize money of $2.2 million (with the winner’s prize being $330,000), this four-day event will use a 72-hole stroke play format and will feature 76 players, including 68 top LPGA Tour players and 8 specially invited players. Just like last year, two amateur players recommended by the Korea Golf Association (KGA) will be granted entry to foster the dreams of young golfers.

Moreover, to conduct a globally top-level sustainable event, a green campaign linked with the local community, a declaration for a zero-waste tournament minimizing paper use throughout the event, exhibitions and operational management of eco-friendly vehicles, and various social contribution activities such as donation events by the BMW Korea Future Foundation will be implemented to continue as a top ESG tournament.

Meanwhile, BMW Financial Services Korea will provide two tickets for either the third or fourth rounds of the BMW Ladies Championship 2024 to all customers who purchase the flagship BMW models including the 7 Series, i7, 8 Series, X7, and XM through BMW Financial Services throughout August.
