Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will unveil the bespoke model, ‘Specter Semaphore,’ for the first time in the world on the 16th in California during Monterey Car Week 2024.
This model is built on the Rolls-Royce Specter and captures the bold and confident luxury codes sought by a younger clientele.
The vehicle’s exterior is finished in the bespoke Semaphore Yellow, inspired by the comfortable yet elegant charm of the California coast, and the bonnet is adorned with unique artwork. Named ‘Marbled Paint Spill,’ this graphic pays tribute to California, known as the Golden State, and the environmental diversity of the city. Rolls-Royce’s bespoke artisans brought inspiration from various elements, from the sunshine of Southern California to the summit of Silver Mountain in the East, to life.
To complete this graphic motif, Rolls-Royce artisans applied a smooth finish using silver lacquer and multiple layers of clear coat. The design, engineering, and manufacturing of the bonnet alone took over 160 hours.
The bright and bold exterior color continues into the interior. The seats, starlight door, and upper part of the instrument panel feature a combination of bespoke lemon yellow and citrine yellow, harmoniously complemented by contrasting Grace White and Slate Gray colors. Additionally, the same yellow is applied to the dashboard using the digital customization features provided through the vehicle’s ‘SPIRIT’ operating system.
Parts of the center fascia are outfitted with a high-gloss bespoke paint wood set, maximizing the modern feel. The wood set painted in Cashmere Gray matches the interior gray points and shines even brighter when exposed to sunlight due to silver mica pieces included in the paint.
The Specter Semaphore is a one-off model, and it will be displayed at ‘The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering’ held as part of the Monterey Car Week event.
