‘Renault Koleos’

Renault Korea offers the industry’s highest vehicle residual value guarantee for customers purchasing the new mid-size SUV, ‘New Renault Koleos E-Tech Hybrid.’

The ‘New Renault Koleos E-Tech Hybrid Residual Value Guarantee Service’ is implemented to celebrate the new car launch and the Korean Automobile Writers Association’s selection of ‘Car of the Month’ for August. When individual or sole proprietorship customers purchase and eventually return the Koleos E-Tech Hybrid and repurchase a new Renault Korea vehicle, they will be provided with a guarantee on the residual value according to the check rate, ensuring industry-leading residual value.

The residual value guarantee starts at a maximum of 80% and applies on a tiered basis for up to five years while increasing the standard driving distance by 1,250 km each month. An overview of the minimum and maximum standard driving distance and residual value guarantee per year shows that after one year (10,000–15,000 km), it is 75%; after two years (25,000–30,000 km), it is 70%; after three years (40,000–45,000 km), it is 64%; after four years (55,000–60,000 km), it is 57%; and after five years (70,000–75,000 km), it is 50%. Additionally, for vehicles that do not meet the minimum driving distance for each period, compensation of 0.5% is given for every 5,000 km below the minimum, ensuring the industry’s top-tier residual value guarantee. For example, a vehicle that has driven a total of 19,000 km over two years will receive additional compensation for the 6,000 km not driven compared to the minimum required distance of 25,000 km, resulting in a total residual value guarantee of 71%. This service is provided through Renault Korea’s official partners.

Hwang Jae-seop, managing director of sales and network at Renault Korea, stated, “We prepared the highest level of vehicle residual value guarantee in the industry so that customers can meet the new Renault Koleos E-Tech Hybrid, introduced for the first time after the launch of the new brand, with peace of mind,” adding, “Renault Korea sales advisors are fully prepared to ensure many customers can comfortably visit the showroom to experience the vehicle firsthand.”

The New Renault Koleos will start customer deliveries with the E-Tech Hybrid model in early September and will be equipped as standard with advanced driving assistance functions, including Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities across all trims. The real-time TMAP navigation and voice recognition system ‘NUGU Auto’ are also included as standard, enhancing driving convenience.

Additionally, ultra-high-strength hot-press forming (HPF) components are applied to an industry-leading ratio of 18% in the vehicle body, and numerous high-quality materials, such as ‘Giga Steel’ with over 980Mpa and ultra-high strength steel (AHSS), are utilized, boasting exceptional safety.

The New Renault Koleos E-Tech Hybrid delivers a best-in-class system output of 245 horsepower and offers superior fuel efficiency of 15.7 km/l (based on the Techno trim) despite being equipped with 19” tires. As a versatile mid-size SUV, it excels in high-speed driving fuel efficiency as well.
