Maserati unveiled the new super sports car, the Maserati GT2 Stradale, for the first time in the world at the 2024 Monterey Car Week on the 16th (local time).

The Maserati GT2 Stradale, which was revealed at the highlight of Monterey Car Week, ‘The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering’, is the culmination of the ‘GT2’, created for the brand’s return to GT competitions, and the technical prowess and design DNA of the uniquely styled ‘MC20’. This car simultaneously evokes the racing performance of the GT2 and the design of the MC20, ensuring comfort in all driving conditions while providing the outstanding driving experience that Maserati is known for.

The top speed of the Maserati GT2 Stradale, befitting its racing DNA, exceeds 320 km/h. It boasts a maximum output of 640 horsepower, which is 10 horsepower more than the MC20, and it accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. This extraordinary performance offers a sensation reminiscent of driving a track car, allowing drivers to experience peak performance anywhere in the world.

The bold and progressive design of the Maserati GT2 Stradale comes with various optional specifications and can be customized with dedicated packages for performance enhancement. It can also embody personal preferences through Maserati’s exclusive bespoke program, ‘Fuoriserie’.

During the unveiling of the GT2 Stradale at The Quail, the MC20 Icona, a limited edition model recently released in Korea, was displayed for the first time in North America, alongside the most powerful track car, MCXtrema, which recently held its first customer delivery ceremony at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

Davide Grasso, Maserati CEO, stated, “The Maserati GT2 Stradale is a special product that carries forward the brand’s elite sports heritage while showcasing the evolution of the most iconic Maserati vehicle, the MC20. It was born from a desire to offer more in terms of technology, innovation, design, and emotion to customers on the road. This product fulfills the needs of the highest-level enthusiasts and is a new piece that expresses the essence of our brand.”
