Hankook Tire is launching the premium comfort tire ‘Dynapro HPX’ designed specifically for SUVs in the European market.
‘Dynapro HPX’ is an all-season tire that delivers excellent handling and braking performance while providing a comfortable ride and low noise. It has obtained ‘M+S (Mud+Snow)’ certification, supporting stable and comfortable driving in various conditions, including mud, snow, dry, and wet roads. Since its launch in the domestic market in 2022, it has gained high popularity among SUV drivers.
To enhance various performance aspects, several innovative technologies have been implemented. The ‘3D Grip Control Sipe’ technology, which features interlocking notched blocks, minimizes block movement, improving block rigidity, grip, and handling performance. Additionally, the tread edge blocks have been widened to enhance pattern rigidity, while an optimized profile offers outstanding steering stability.
Furthermore, a wear-resistant all-season compound has been used to expand the contact area with the ground during driving, significantly enhancing mileage performance. The introduction of uneven protrusions in the grooves reduces resonance noise, while the optimal placement of blocks of varying sizes minimizes road impact, thereby improving ride comfort.
In addition, as the global automotive market continues to see growth in SUVs, Hankook Tire is making significant efforts to develop innovative technologies optimized for SUV characteristics. Building on its top-tier global technology, it is expanding supply contracts for original equipment tires for representative SUV models of premium automotive brands and leading the global SUV tire market.
