‘2025 Kia Bongo III’

Kia launched ‘The 2025 Bongo III’ on the 16th (Tuesday), marking the beginning of full-scale sales.

The 2025 Bongo III is a model with a year-end change, enhancing product competitiveness by standardizing customer-preferred specifications by trim level and introducing an automatic transmission (A/T) for driving instructional vehicles.

Kia has reflected customer feedback by expanding the application of ▲power-folding outside mirrors ▲cruise control to even the lower trims of The 2025 Bongo III, while equipping the higher trims with ▲tweeter speakers ▲chrome inside door handles & parking brake levers to improve product appeal.

Additionally, Kia has increased the safety of The 2025 Bongo III by installing fire extinguishers in all trims of the entire model.

Furthermore, Kia has expanded the range of options for customers preparing to acquire a driver’s license by adding automatic transmission models alongside existing manual transmission options for the 1-ton long wheelbase double cab/standard cab-based driving instructional vehicles.

As automatic transmissions become more common, a new ‘Conditional Type 1 Regular License for Automatic Transmissions’ is expected to be introduced in the fourth quarter, allowing the acquisition of a Type 1 Regular driver’s license through automatic transmission vehicles.

The sale price of The 2025 Bongo III ranges from ▲1-ton 20.35 million won ~ 23 million won ▲1.2-ton 24.55 million won ~ 25.6 million won. (※ Based on 2WD long wheelbase king cab and 6-speed manual transmission)

In addition, the sale price for The 2025 Bongo III driving instructional vehicles is ▲1-ton standard cab 19.88 million won ▲1-ton double cab 21.27 million won. (※ Based on 2WD long wheelbase and 6-speed manual transmission)

Choosing the automatic transmission adds 1.13 million won for the 1-ton vehicle and 1.07 million won for the 1.2-ton vehicle. (※ Same for driving instructional vehicles; 4WD options do not allow selecting automatic transmission.)

A Kia representative stated, “The Bongo, which has long served as a reliable partner for small business owners, is optimized for urban transport and has been loved by many customers,” and added, “We expect the newly launched automatic transmission driving instructional vehicles to widen the options for customers preparing to obtain a driver’s license.”
