Lotte Fine Chemical announced a prize-giving ceremony for winners of its mileage accumulation service launch event for its UROX urea solution product.

The event ran from May 13 to June 30 in collaboration with Lotte Members, targeting buyers of the UROX 10L product. A total of 33 million L.POINT chance opportunities were offered, giving grand prizes of 10 million L.POINTs to one winner, 1 million L.POINTs to 10 winners, and 30,000 L.POINTs to 100 winners, providing luck to 1,111 participants.

Recently, Lotte Fine Chemical added QR codes inside the packaging of some UROX 10L products. When consumers scan the QR code, they can earn 500 points through the L.POINT app. These accumulated points can be immediately used like cash at around 700,000 L.POINT affiliate stores nationwide, and they are automatically entered into events for additional rewards. The method of accumulating QR mileage can be easily found by searching for ‘UROX Mileage’ on Lotte Fine Chemical’s official YouTube channel or on YouTube.

A representative from Lotte Fine Chemical stated, “This prize event was organized to express our gratitude to customers who love UROX, in commemoration of the launch of the UROX mileage accumulation service.” They added, “We plan to continuously provide special benefits through various events not only in this event but also for consumers accumulating L.POINTs through our QR codes.”

Meanwhile, UROX is recognized for its quality and value as it continues to supply original urea solution to the most automobile manufacturers globally, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Scania, MAN, and Stellantis, as well as domestic manufacturers like Hyundai Kia and Tata Daewoo. It holds the permanent trademark rights for the international quality standard of urea solution known as ‘AdBlue’ set by the German Automotive Industry Association. Additionally, it has maintained the number one sales position in the domestic market for 16 consecutive years (according to Ministry of Environment statistics) and has ranked number one for six consecutive years in the ‘Korea Brand Power Index’ for the urea solution category, securing customer trust.

Urea solution is a catalyst used in the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system of diesel vehicles, helping greatly improve air quality by removing nitrogen oxides (NOx), which are among the causes of fine dust in exhaust emissions.
