The completely revamped All-New Colorado is experiencing incredible popularity, selling out its initial stock in just one day. We are confident it will become the new leader in the premium import pickup truck market.”
The Chevrolet Colorado is a mid-size pickup truck model that embodies Chevrolet’s expertise accumulated over 100 years of crafting pickup trucks. Originally launched in 2003, the first-generation model gained phenomenal popularity in the U.S. mid-size pickup segment, and the second generation was introduced to South Korea in 2019, causing a storm in the authentic American pickup truck market.
The third-generation All-New Colorado has been reborn as a premium authentic American pickup truck featuring sleek design, high-performance powertrains, and cutting-edge options, offering all-terrain performance both on and off-road. On its official domestic launch day, the new Colorado recorded over 400 pre-orders, proving its immense customer interest in the premium import pickup truck market, which sees about 1,000 units annually. Chevrolet plans to actively communicate with its North American headquarters to secure additional inventory based on the positive feedback from domestic customers.
Equipped with a new 2.7L direct-injection gasoline turbo engine that delivers 314.3 horsepower and 54 kg·m of torque, the new Colorado boasts class-leading power performance and features a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission that ensures quick downshifts.
True to its optimization for outdoor activities, the pickup truck comes standard with an Autotrac™ Active 2-speed 4WD system for confident driving on rough terrain and offers various drive mode selections suitable for different driving conditions. Furthermore, with G.M.’s advanced trailering technology, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy an expanded lifestyle.
New options fitting for a premium authentic pickup truck have been significantly applied. G.M.’s global connectivity service, OnStar, is provided free for five years, and wireless phone projection allows the use of Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay without USB cables. Other premium features include driver’s seat memory, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, dual-zone full-auto air conditioning, rear air vents, sunroof, and smart key options.
Meanwhile, customers can experience the Chevrolet All-New Colorado at the newly renovated G.M. integrated brand space ‘The House of G.M.’ as well as at 30 Chevrolet dealerships nationwide.
