‘New 4 Series Convertible’

BMW Korea officially launches the BMW New 4 Series Coupe and Convertible, returning with a more intense and progressive presence.

The BMW 4 Series has established a unique position in the domestic premium mid-size coupe and convertible market, harmonizing dynamic driving pleasure with elegant design.

The newly launched BMW New 4 Series Coupe and Convertible showcase a more dynamic and original exterior design following a facelift, coupled with a modern interior that exudes a progressive yet luxurious atmosphere. Powered by the advanced infotainment system based on BMW OS 8.5 and various convenience features, it provides the ultimate driving environment for drivers.

The New 4 Series Coupe and Convertible complete a sportier impression with LED headlights featuring new daytime running lights and a wide, three-dimensional front bumper. The rear emphasizes dynamism with eye-catching laser rear lights, enlarged exhaust pipes, and a black high-gloss rear diffuser. The laser rear lights are standard on all coupe and convertible models except the New 420i Convertible M Sport trim.

Inside, the BMW Curved Display features a 12.3-inch information display and a 14.9-inch control display, alongside a new D-cut steering wheel and sports seats that manifest a sporty feel. Additionally, the instrument panel finished in ‘Sensatec’ material and the ‘Illuminated Airvent’ with subtle ambient lighting enhance the interior into a sophisticated and stylish space.

All internal combustion engine models of the BMW New 4 Series are equipped with 48V mild hybrid technology. The 48V battery and electric motor deliver extra power during acceleration, enhancing responsiveness and improving efficiency by reducing the engine load.

The BMW New 420i Coupe and Convertible come equipped with the BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a maximum output of 190 horsepower and a peak torque of 31.6kg·m, paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The time taken to accelerate from a standstill to 100km/h is 7.5 seconds for the New 420i Coupe and 8.2 seconds for the New 420i Convertible.

Additionally, the M Sports Pro package for the New 420i Coupe and Convertible includes adaptive M suspension, allowing for adjustments to suspension characteristics based on driving conditions.

The BMW New 4 Series features the latest operating system, ‘BMW Operating System 8.5’, delivering a new and convenient user experience. Supporting a user-friendly ‘QuickSelect’ function, it allows for fast and easy operation of the infotainment system without navigating through sub-menus.

A menu bar applied at the bottom of the control display allows for immediate control of major functions, while live widgets enable quick access to essential information with easy swiping up, down, left, or right. The cloud-based BMW navigation supports augmented reality view functions for accurately finding routes even on complex paths.

The BMW New 4 Series Coupe and Convertible come with the ‘Driving Assistant Professional’ standard across all trims, which includes active cruise control with stop & go functionality, collision and rear-end warning, and lane-keeping assistance, providing excellent driving safety and convenience. Meanwhile, the ‘Parking Assistant’ feature consists of various functions, including parking assist and reverse assist, which apply standard or plus specifications depending on the trim.

The BMW New 420i Coupe is launched as a single trim with the M Sports Pro package, and its domestic launch price is 73.2 million won. The domestic launch price of the BMW New 420i Convertible varies by trim, with the M Sports Package at 74.8 million won and the M Sports Pro Package at 79 million won.
