‘LM500h’

Lexus Korea has announced the official launch of the all-new ‘LM 500h’, its flagship MPV, with pre-orders starting nationwide at official Lexus dealer showrooms from the 3rd.

Set to be released on July 24, the all-new ‘LM 500h’ is a second-generation model that was unveiled at the World Premiere in April 2023. ‘LM’ stands for ‘Luxury Mover’, designed to provide a mobile space where customers pursuing a luxury lifestyle can find their true selves. It features a comfortable ride that takes into account all passengers, functionality, elegant yet dynamic interior and exterior design that evokes the spirit of omotenashi, vibration and noise reduction design, and a range of convenience specifications.

The all-new ‘LM 500h’ embodies the concept of ‘Dignified Elegance’, showcasing a luxurious exterior and a comfortable, open interior. The front displays Lexus’ design identity, the ‘Spindle Body’, with a modern and striking image created by a front chrome plating finish and triple beam LED headlights. The side profile, with a low and elongated beltline silhouette, presents a commanding presence, while the floating-roof design emphasizes sleekness and openness. At the rear, the central protrusion and fender volume emphasize its stance, incorporating Lexus’ signature L-shaped bar lamp to realize the brand’s unique design language.

Basing on the GA-K platform, the all-new ‘LM 500h’ is equipped with a 2.4L inline 4-cylinder turbo engine and a hybrid system paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission to deliver powerful driving performance. The rear axle features an eAxle, and the ‘DIRECT4’ all-wheel drive system independently controls the power to the front and rear wheels depending on driving conditions, ensuring stable handling and optimal driving experience.

The flagship MPV, all-new ‘LM 500h’, will be available in two grades: the 4-seater Royal grade, which offers a separate second-row space, and the 6-seater Executive grade, which provides flexible space utilization through various seating positions. The 4-seater Royal grade comes with features like a party partition glass that dims and vertically opens to create a private personalized space, a 48-inch ultra-wide display, and zoned climate control targeting different body parts, providing the ultimate luxury chauffeured experience. The 6-seater Executive grade also ensures a comfortable ride for second-row passengers with features like 2nd-row VIP seats, universal steps, and rear climate concierge.

The suggested retail prices for the all-new ‘LM 500h’ are: △ 4-seater Royal grade 196 million KRW, and △ 6-seater Executive grade 148 million KRW. (Includes VAT, 5% individual consumption tax)

Kang Dae-hwan, Vice President of Lexus Korea, stated, “To meet the increasingly diversified and segmented lifestyles, we are launching the all-new ‘LM 500h’ that combines comfortable ride quality, convenience, and spaciousness,” and added, “We hope for great expectations and interest in the all-new ‘LM 500h’, a luxury flagship MPV newly proposed by Lexus for all those VIPs for whom every moment is important.”
