On the 3rd, KT announced that it has expanded the number of lines available for its flagship bundled product, ‘Premium Family Combination’, from 5 to 7 lines to enhance benefits for family customers.

The ‘Premium Family Combination’ can be subscribed to by families with two or more mobile lines costing at least 77,000 KRW per month. The base bundled line offers a total discount of up to 22,110 KRW along with a selective contract discount, and discounts of up to 50% apply to all lines from the second line onward.

Reflecting customer needs for those looking to combine services with both sets of parents or for families with many children who find 5 lines insufficient, KT has revised the policy to allow up to 7 lines for family connections.

When combined with the ‘5G Choice Basic (90,000 KRW per month)’ plan, which includes services like Netflix, the base bundled line can be used for 56,500 KRW, and the second to seventh lines can be utilized at 45,000 KRW each.

Additionally, if a teenage child is included in the plan, an extra discount of 5,500 KRW is applied, allowing families to access unlimited 5G data plans for around 30,000 KRW per month.

To celebrate this revision, KT will offer a ‘3-month free Tving subscription’ to new bundled customers who join the ‘KT Family Box’ app from the 5th until August 31st.

Kim Young-geol, Head of KT’s Customer Business Division, stated, “In consideration of the various changing needs of our customers, we have expanded the number of lines available for bundling up to 7. We will continue to identify the best products that offer real reductions in telecommunications costs and strengthen our competitiveness.”

Meanwhile, since launching the ‘Our Family Representative’ service in January this year, which substitutes for family communication tasks, KT continues to unveil differentiated services that provide real benefits to customers, including a direct no-contract communication bundle ‘Yogo Mungchi’ and a paperless service through public MyData.
