Harman International provides the ultimate premium listening experience through its Harman Kardon premium audio sound system technology, adopted in the newly unveiled Kia EV3 model.
The Harman Kardon premium sound system newly integrated into the EV3 features eight speakers and an external amplifier, offering a graceful and sophisticated acoustic environment that allows drivers and passengers to experience the Harman Kardon brand naturally.
This newly adopted Harman Kardon premium audio sound system in the EV3 provides a pure auditory experience without fatigue for extended listening, thanks to its smooth and clear frequency response characteristics. Notably, the accurate representation of high, mid, and low frequencies—free from excess or deficiency—enhances the enjoyment of driving with consistent sound balance across all volume levels.
Each front seat is equipped with two tweeters and a woofer forming a 2-way speaker system responsible for the sound in the front seats, while a mid-tweeter speaker in the center of the dashboard acts as the center speaker. Additionally, full-range speakers are installed in the rear doors, managing the sound for the back seats; a double voice coil subwoofer enhances deep bass while delivering tight and punchy low frequencies.
Additionally, the smart-speed linked volume control feature automatically adjusts speaker volume according to the vehicle’s speed, allowing for a safer and more enjoyable acoustic experience without the need to manually adjust the volume while driving.
Harman Kardon is a globally recognized audio brand that creates beautiful sound through high-level sound quality, elegant design, and meticulous care for users. From automotive and home cinema to home audio, Bluetooth speakers, and headphones, it has continuously won the hearts of consumers worldwide with its leading audio engineering and stylish designs.
In South Korea, Harman International Korea has been supplying Harman Kardon audio systems to Hyundai Motor and Kia since 2018. Currently, you can find the Harman Kardon audio sound systems in Hyundai’s overseas models and Kia’s domestic and overseas models.
Meanwhile, from June 15 (Saturday) to 16 (Sunday), opportunities to experience the Harman Kardon premium audio sound system and the EV3 vehicle will be offered to prospective EV3 buyers at 15 major Kia locations nationwide, including Kia EV Unplugged Ground in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Pre-registration is available through Kia’s nationwide dealerships and online, and among customers who consult about vehicle purchases after participating in the exhibition and sound experience, 90 lucky winners will receive a Harman Kardon LUNA Bluetooth speaker.
