Continental’s second brand in the tire sector, ‘General Tire’, will supply original equipment (OE) tires for the ‘New Mercedes-AMG G63’, a sport version of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
General Tire, representing the American market for over 100 years since 1915, was acquired by Continental in 1987. It was first launched in South Korea in 2019 to meet diverse consumer demands, and its products are widely recognized for safety and performance, boasting strong durability and excellent mileage.
The 20-inch summer tire ‘Grabber HTS60’ is standard on the Mercedes-Benz ultra-high-performance SUV, designed for optimal performance in both on-road and off-road conditions. ‘Grabber HTS60’ is an SUV-exclusive tire that stands out for its exceptional durability. It delivers impressive mileage performance even on rough off-road terrains, providing a smooth and stable driving experience regardless of weather or road conditions.
Additionally, the innovative tread design and special rubber compounds ensure precise steering response and top performance in all driving environments, as well as a long tire lifespan. The internal absorber attached to the inner surface of the tire tread alleviates road shocks while reducing rolling noise, and it is mounted in the size of 275/50 R20.
