Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Korea announced on May 1st the appointment of Thomas Burgs-Hauser as its new CEO. Before this position, CEO Thomas Burgs-Hauser worked at the Mercedes-Benz headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, managing performance in overseas and Greater China markets for Mercedes-Benz Mobility.
Thomas Burgs-Hauser is an automotive finance expert with 20 years of diverse experience and expertise at Mercedes-Benz Mobility. He joined Daimler Bank AG in 2004 as a leasing and financial consultant and rose to the position of product management team leader for passenger cars and commercial vehicle divisions at Mercedes-Benz Bank AG in 2007. From 2014 to 2020, he served as the head of sales and marketing at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Spain. Since 2020, he has been responsible for sales and marketing in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region at Mercedes-Benz Mobility, known for his deep insights into major Asian markets, including Korea.
