Volvo Cars Korea announced on the 3rd that it is relocating and expanding its Gangnam Cheongdam showroom and opening a new service center to strengthen customer service touchpoints and offer more differentiated services in the area.

Operated by H Motors, an official dealer of Volvo Cars Korea, the Gangnam Cheongdam showroom and service center boast a total floor area of 4,600.78 square meters (approximately 1,392 pyeong), consisting of 9 floors above ground and 5 below. This spacious facility can handle repairs for up to 450 vehicles per month. Additionally, the showroom utilizes eco-friendly construction materials and has adopted sustainable designs that leverage renewable energy sources like solar and geothermal, earning it the designation of ‘Green Building Certification’ from the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

The ground floor features a showroom showcasing a variety of Volvo vehicle lineups alongside a customer lounge that offers a taste of Swedish premium ambiance. The basement level includes a service center lounge, vehicle delivery zone, workbay, customer parking, and charging stations for electric vehicles, including both fast (DC combo) and slow (AC combo) chargers. Volvo Cars Korea plans to open the Cheongdam showroom initially, followed by the service center in mid-May.

In celebration of the opening of the Gangnam Cheongdam showroom, Volvo Cars Korea will host a series of customer events. All visitors to the showroom will receive a Swedish New Egg Pack set, while all customers who finalize a vehicle contract will receive a ‘Pick by Volvo’ camping folding box as a gift. Additionally, there will be a lottery for customers who contract and receive their vehicles, with prizes including Dyson air purifiers and De’Longhi coffee machines. There will also be inviting events featuring cultural performances and Swedish lifestyle lectures tailored for family visitors.

Lee Yoon-mo, President of Volvo Cars Korea, stated, “We are expanding and relocating the showroom and opening a new service center to ensure that our customers in the Gangnam area can enjoy Volvo Cars’ premium services more conveniently. Going forward, Volvo Cars Korea will prioritize customer satisfaction as our utmost value while pursuing qualitative and substantial growth.”

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea is committed to achieving customer satisfaction through active network expansion. Following the expansion and relocation of the Gangnam Cheongdam showroom, new showrooms are planned to open in areas such as Cheongju and Gunsan, alongside new service centers in the same regions.
