Kia has unveiled teaser images and a video of the ‘Kia EV3,’ set to lead the popularization of electric vehicles, for the first time on the 7th (Tuesday).

The EV3, following Kia’s first E-GMP based electric car, the EV6 in 2021, and the EV9, a large electrified flagship SUV in 2023, marks Kia’s third dedicated electric vehicle model. It aims to drive the popularization of electric vehicles while expanding the EV lineup and providing a new customer experience in the era of electrified mobility, as a compact SUV.
The EV3 features a robust and geometric design that harmonizes with Kia’s unique design philosophy, ‘Opposite United,’ delivering a distinctive aesthetic.
The front end showcases a futuristic feel with star map signature lighting and vertical headlamps, giving it a solid and bold impression.
The side profile’s low and elongated dynamic roof line blends seamlessly with the body, creating a forward-looking ambiance.
At the rear, the voluminous tailgate design generates an expansive feel, while the tail lamps, shaped to mimic flowing air, add a dynamic quality.
Kia emphasized the futuristic design elements of the EV3 through the compelling silhouette shown in the teaser video released alongside the teaser images.
Notably, Kia garnered significant attention in the global market when it unveiled the EV3 concept car at last year’s ‘Kia EV DAY.’
Kia is set to reveal detailed product information, including the design of the EV3, through an online world premiere video on the 23rd of this month.
