Chevrolet is launching the ‘Spark Upgrade Program’ throughout May, offering Spark owners a benefit of up to 1 million won when they trade in their existing vehicle for a new Trax crossover. This includes 700,000 won in cash support and up to 300,000 won in gift vouchers.

Lee Ki-hyun, head of GM Korea’s domestic sales division, stated, “The Spark Upgrade Program was created to express gratitude towards customers who have purchased the Spark, Chevrolet’s entry model for many years, while also providing them with an attractive opportunity to upgrade their vehicles. The Trax crossover, which Spark owners can benefit from, is a new entry model in the global market, satisfying a wide range of demand from micro to compact and subcompact segments.”

All Spark models sold under the Chevrolet brand qualify for this promotion. Chevrolet offers customers the opportunity to trade in their used Sparks at nationwide dealerships, and if they purchase a Trax crossover and receive it by the end of May, they can receive up to 1 million won based on the used vehicle market price.

Chevrolet is revitalizing its domestic sales with the recent launch of the 2025 Trax crossover, which underwent a refresh. The new model began customer deliveries last month, selling 1,737 units in April, marking a 17% increase compared to the previous month’s performance.

The 2025 Chevrolet Trax crossover features a new Redline trim that emphasizes a bold red color while strengthening its product competitiveness. Additionally, GM has newly applied its global connectivity service, OnStar, maintaining the pricing from previous years and enhancing its product proposition further.

Additionally, Chevrolet is running the ‘Together with Family, Together with Chevrolet’ promotion in May, offering financing benefits to customers purchasing the 2025 Trax crossover. Customers can avail of a low 4.5% interest rate for up to 36 months or a super-long 4.9% interest rate for up to 60 months when purchasing during May.
