Kia announced on the 10th (Friday) that it will hold an ‘EV3 Early Check-In’ event, providing customers with the first look at ‘The Kia EV3’, which is expected to launch in the second half of this year, along with related news.

The EV3 is Kia’s third dedicated electric vehicle model, following the EV6, Kia’s first E-GMP-based electric car launched in 2021, and the EV9, a large electrified flagship SUV launched in 2023. The EV3 aims to provide a new experience in the era of electrified mobility as a compact SUV.

This event will include an ‘EV3 Exclusive Preview’ to unveil the EM3 to customers and a ‘EV3 Total Notification Service’ allowing participants to receive advance information via text on details like the launch schedule, test drive plans, and exclusive purchase benefits.

The EV3 Exclusive Preview will be conducted with guided introductions and free viewing, and will take place in 15 Kia locations nationwide, such as EV Unplugged Ground Seongsu, Kia360, Incheon Flagship Store, and Dongdaegu Branch. The event is scheduled for June 15th (Saturday) and 16th (Sunday), running from 10 AM to 4 PM with three sessions each day, lasting 40 minutes per session.

From May 10th (Friday) to June 6th (Thursday), participants can apply on Kia’s event page.

Kia plans to announce the winners of the EV3 Exclusive Preview on June 7th (Friday), selecting 2,250 teams (9,000 people including companions), and all applicants will receive the EV3 Total Notification Service.

A Kia representative stated, “We hope many customers will experience Kia’s new electric vehicle model, the EV3, through this event, and we will continue to hold diverse events for electric vehicle customers in the future.”

Meanwhile, on the 7th (Tuesday), Kia revealed teaser images and videos highlighting the futuristic elements of the EV3’s sleek silhouette, delivering a unique feel that harmonizes strong geometric designs based on Kia’s design philosophy of ‘Opposites United’.

Kia plans to unveil detailed product information about the EV3, including its design, through an online world premiere video on the 23rd (Thursday).
