‘The Go’ Exterior

This is amazing. It is Honda Korea’s newly created mobility cafe, ‘The Go’. With 4,500 visitors in just a month, ‘The Go’ has emerged as a bona fide mobility experience space.

Honda Korea opened ‘The Go’ on the 29th of last month, right in front of exit 5 of Jeongja Station on the Shinbundang Line. This is Honda’s first mobility cafe set up in Korea in the Asia-Pacific region. Spanning 200 pyeong (approximately 660 square meters), this complex space allows visitors to enjoy snacks while freely experiencing and test driving vehicles.

‘The Go’s’ Elegant Interior

The first secret to ‘The Go’s’ popularity is its luxurious atmosphere. With wide table spacing and interiors reminiscent of a top-tier hotel, the cafe creates an environment that emphasizes psychological comfort and stability, making it a place where visitors want to return.

The second factor is the exquisite food. Using only the finest ingredients for coffee beans and desserts, the cafe has received rave reviews. By targeting visitors’ taste buds with top-notch ingredients, word has spread about the delicious offerings, leading to an increase in customers. ‘The Go’ is becoming a beloved gathering place in Jeongja-dong, where people can enjoy coffee while freely viewing vehicles with friends.

‘The Go’ hosts various branding promotion events, such as children’s traffic safety education campaigns and professional golfer lectures, to create a space where customers can develop attachment to the brand. Honda Korea plans to run diverse programs to complete this space as a community hub and multifaceted cultural venue.

Visitors to ‘The Go’ are not just there for coffee. Many are also eager to test drive cars and motorcycles. There are various test drive courses available: an urban course (8km), a highway course (15km), and a dynamic course (22km) for cars, while motorcycles are categorized into short (8km), medium (9km), and long distance (12km) routes. The detailed test drive options have attracted 140 car and 110 motorcycle test drivers in just one month.

A Honda Korea representative stated, “Long-distance test drives are possible if requested by customers,” emphasizing the popularity of ‘The Go’s’ test drive program, which is fully booked on weekdays and weekends alike. Reservations for test drives can be made after signing up for membership on the Honda Korea ‘The Go’ website. Honda plans to introduce new motorcycles into the test drive program in June, capitalizing on the success of ‘The Go’.

Another factor contributing to ‘The Go’s’ popularity is its accessibility. Located directly in front of exit 5 of Jeongja Station on the Shinbundang Line, ‘The Go’ is conveniently reachable by public transport, making it easy to drop by for a quick test drive on the way home from work.
