Volvo Korea announced the successful conclusion of the ‘Yukio Kuramoto Concert’ held in collaboration with the Purme Foundation at the Shinhan Card SOL Pay Square in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 29th, designed for families of children with disabilities and social welfare workers.

Over 320 attendees, including families of children with disabilities, selected participants from social contribution initiatives, social welfare workers from related organizations of the Purme Foundation, distinguished guests, and representatives enjoyed a warm healing time through performances by renowned pianist ‘Yukio Kuramoto’ and his quartet.

CEO of Volvo Korea, Lee Yoon-mo, stated, “I hope this concert provided a warm and meaningful time not only for children with disabilities but also for their families and all those who share their vision. I assure you that Volvo Korea will continue to strive for a safer world and a healthier society in the future.”

Since 2017, Volvo Korea has been collaborating with the Purme Foundation to provide customized mobility aids to ensure transportation rights for children and youth with disabilities. Through this initiative, about 700 children and adolescents with disabilities have received rehabilitation and independence support over eight years, achieving a total donation amount of 2 billion won for related projects.
