‘Aston Martin DBX 707 interior’

Aston Martin has unveiled the new DBX707, which features a state-of-the-art infotainment system and a revamped interior.

Launched in 2022, the Aston Martin DBX707 is celebrated as a true SUV supercar that harmoniously blends extreme performance, exceptional dynamics, and remarkable style with luxury. Based on its overwhelming popularity and multiple awards, the DBX707 has established itself as a flagship symbol in Aston Martin’s SUV portfolio.

The key highlight of the new DBX707 is its interior upgrade. Aston Martin has implemented its own advanced infotainment system and a new cabin structure in the DBX707. This innovative transformation showcases a perfect combination of design and luxury with powerful connected car technology, exemplifying exceptional craftsmanship and innovation.

Marco Mattiacci, Aston Martin’s Global Brand and Business Operations Director, stated, “The DBX707 has created a benchmark for ultra-luxury SUVs with its best-in-class performance, dynamics, world-class design, and utmost luxury. The newly transformed DBX707, featuring cutting-edge technology and a completely updated interior, will once again set new standards in the industry.”

The new DBX707 adopts a fresh interior while incorporating Aston Martin’s next-generation infotainment system. The fully customized integrated multi-screen system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as multi USB-C connectivity and online support via the Aston Martin app.

The multi-screen features top-of-the-line Pure Black touchscreen technology and fully capacitive single and multi-finger gesture controls. The driver’s instrument cluster uses a 12.3-inch screen that is 1.5 inches larger than those found in the DB12 and Vantage, while the 10.25-inch central infotainment display is integrated into the new dashboard and center console.

Additionally, the new DBX707 continues Aston Martin’s philosophy of achieving a perfect balance between touchscreen control and physical switch control, harmonizing digital and analog controls. Buttons have been implemented to control key functions such as gear shifts, driving modes, heating, and ventilation, while physical switches for suspension, ESP, exhaust systems, lane-keeping assist, and parking assistance have been provided for convenient access to frequently used features.

The new interior design that debuted in the DB12 and the new Vantage has also been applied. The design stands out for its confidence and quality, creating a great sense of space and unity with clean and modern lines. The prominent design line splitting the new dashboard into upper and lower sections is particularly striking. The intense linear theme helps lower the overall height of the interior, effectively balancing sports car feel with modern luxury through increased chrome materials, modern veneers, and a streamlined center console.

Every interior element has been improved, from the new steering wheel and redesigned D-Pull door release handles to the elegant vertical air vents, harmoniously paired with bright chrome or dark chrome interior jewelry. The new front door veneer panel has been enlarged, allowing for a variety of material choices including high gloss smoked oak, high gloss titanium mesh, updated ziricote wood, high gloss finishes, and carbon fiber veneers.

The interior trims of the new DBX707 are divided into three distinct trims, each with its signature details. Inspire Comfort features matrix embroidery and quilting, Inspire Sports is characterized by vector embroidery, while Accelerate adds a sporty touch with Alcantara®. Additional details including micro piping and satin embroidery are provided, along with extensive customization services available through Aston Martin’s bespoke service Q by Aston Martin.

The audio system has also been upgraded. The new DBX707 comes equipped with Aston Martin Premium Audio – an 800W 14-speaker audio system. This system, developed utilizing high-end hardware, offers exceptional immersion through its Quantum Logic surround sound processing in surround sound mode.

For audiophiles, an optional sound system developed in collaboration with Aston Martin’s audio partner Bowers & Wilkins is available, incorporating world-class speakers, balanced sound technology, and acoustically designed to suit the DBX707’s interior space and shape. The aluminum double-dome tweeter and Continuum® mid-range driver provide balanced and precise sound in a 1,600W double amplifier surround sound system with 23 speakers. Dedicated 3D headline speakers, bass speakers, and a powerful subwoofer deliver an intense and dynamic sound experience that reflects the DBX707’s character.

The DBX707 boasts Aston Martin’s new emblem as one of its latest core model lineups, with changes also visible in external details. The most significant change is the introduction of new exterior colors. The new DBX707 offers five colors, including Epsilon Black, Helios Yellow, Sprint Green, Malachite Green, and Aura Green, along with Podium Green, which is exclusively available for the DBX707 AMR23 edition.

Additionally, new wheel finishes have been introduced, with satin black applied to the 23-inch Fortis wheels and copper bronze to the 23-inch Forged wheels. The 22-inch sports wheels, 23-inch Fortis, and 23-inch forged rims retain the existing design, allowing choices of silver, gloss black, textured black, satin black, and satin black diamond turn finishes.

Another notable change is the adoption of presenting door handles that extend outward when the vehicle is unlocked and flush glass swivel head side mirrors.

The new side mirrors feature advanced driver assistance systems and integrate fully with camera capabilities to support 3D parking camera functions. Unlike previous designs where the mirrors only moved within a fixed external shell, the newly applied solution allows the entire assembly—including the mirror and shell—to move together. The flush-fit edge-to-edge mirror design improves camera packaging while maximizing the reflective surface area for a wider field of view.

These extensive changes are backed by the powerful hardware that has popularized the DBX707. Notably, it features a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine capable of producing 707 horsepower and 900Nm of torque, matched with a 9-speed wet-clutch automatic transmission. The sophisticated all-wheel-drive system can transmit up to 100% of the torque to the rear axle as needed, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h. Front and rear are equipped with 420mm and 390mm carbon ceramic brake discs, respectively, with 22-inch wheels as standard; options for 23-inch alloy wheels are available in either cast or forged designs.

Aston Martin engineers have introduced new calibrations for electronic dampers and air springs to enhance the class-leading dynamics that the DBX707 displays. This enhancement improves body control responsiveness, precision, and driver confidence, significantly raising the DBX707’s dynamics as a super SUV.

Meanwhile, the new DBX707 is set to start production in the second quarter of 2024 with the first deliveries commencing in the third quarter.
