KGM announced on the 30th that it will participate in the International e-Mobility Expo, showcasing the Torres EVX and operating a test drive center where attendees can experience the vehicle firsthand.

The International e-Mobility Expo is celebrating its 11th installment this year, featuring a variety of electric vehicles from April 30 to May 3 at the Jeju International Convention Center and surrounding Jungmun Tourist Complex.

During the event, KGM will not only exhibit the Torres EVX but also operate a test drive center, enabling attendees to become more familiar with electric vehicles and providing consultation for potential buyers.

The Torres EVX, which began customer deliveries in November last year as electric vehicle subsidies were nearing exhaustion, sold 2,113 units, signaling a surge in the electric vehicle market. In the first quarter of this year, it sold 1,870 units, surpassing competing models to rank fourth in domestic electric vehicle sales, becoming synonymous with “performance and design value for money.”

The appeal of the Torres EVX lies not only in its cost-effectiveness but also in its authentic SUV styling, suited for recreational activities, combined with a forward-looking electric vehicle model’s design, durability, and proven safety.

Meanwhile, KGM is accelerating its development of eco-friendly vehicle models. It plans to release the newly revamped Korando EV in June and is actively developing eco-friendly models such as the electric pickup concept model “O100” and the “KR10” and “F100”.

A KGM representative stated, “We chose to participate in this event to allow visitors to experience the Torres EVX directly in Jeju, where the local government has established an excellent electric vehicle infrastructure, resulting in a high electric vehicle adoption rate. KGM is committed to developing a diverse lineup of eco-friendly vehicle models that reflect customer needs,” they added.
