‘Volvo Yongsan Showroom’

Volvo Cars Korea announced on the 11th that it has opened a new showroom in Yongsan to provide a differentiated brand experience for customers in the northern part of Seoul.

The Volvo Yongsan showroom, operated by Chonha Motors, an official dealer of Volvo Cars Korea, is the first new showroom in the northern part of Seoul in four years, featuring a concept as a ‘cultural space enjoyable for the whole family.’ Located at the intersection in front of Yongsan Station, it enhances customer accessibility.

Spanning a total floor area of 739.1㎡ (approximately 224 pyeong) and two stories, the Yongsan showroom includes a customer parking lot that can accommodate up to 12 vehicles. To showcase a diverse lineup of Volvo vehicles, a maximum of seven display cars are prepared, alongside a customer lounge equipped with a premium coffee bar for visitors to relax comfortably.

To commemorate the new Yongsan showroom opening, Volvo Cars Korea will conduct various promotional events until April 28. Customers who visit the showroom and complete a test drive will receive a Volvo-branded umbrella, a keychain, or a neck pillow. Additionally, customers who sign a vehicle contract will enter a draw for a European travel voucher (5 nights, 7 days) and accommodation vouchers at a 5-star hotel in Korea (2 nights, 3 days).

Additionally, customers visiting the Yongsan showroom who upload a post on social media with specified hashtags will have a chance to win a small keychain doll in a draw, with a total of 20 prizes available. (While supplies last, through first-come, first-served and draw)

Lee Yoon-mo, CEO of Volvo Cars Korea, stated, “We are pleased to present the Swedish premium experience unique to Volvo and to enable more customers to experience Volvo cars with the opening of a new showroom in the northern part of Seoul after four years. We will continue to strive for customer satisfaction through consistent expansion of showrooms and service networks.”

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea continues to make active investments and efforts to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. As a result, while the domestic market shrank for the first time in four years last year, Volvo Cars Korea recorded a sales volume of 17,018 units, an 18% increase compared to the previous year, setting a brand record for the highest sales. This year, they plan to expand showroom and service center sizes with a large investment of 100 billion won.
