KG Mobility announced on the 12th that it has been hiring passionate new graduates and experienced employees for the second consecutive year to prepare for the future and secure new growth drivers.

KGM explained that following last year’s public recruitment of 53 R&D-focused personnel, this year, they are significantly hiring outstanding talent across all sectors including R&D, management, production technology, quality control, design, marketing, domestic sales, and overseas sales, infusing new young blood into the company.

This recruitment round is part of KGM’s ongoing efforts to rise above challenges such as business recovery procedures, having been incorporated into the KG Group family since 2017. The recruitment campaign attracted over 5,000 candidates, resulting in a remarkable competition of 73:1, leading to the selection of 68 new and experienced employees who have passed rigorous interviews, both in professional expertise and intellect, and are expected to play a pivotal role in KGM’s growth.

Through in-depth interviews rooted in KG Group’s four core values: ▲Responsibility in action ▲Dignified confidence ▲Innovative challenges ▲Great creation, they focused on recruiting talented individuals who can together open the future of realizing the value of ‘a respected enterprise, a proud company’ as members of KG.

Since KGM began its journey as a family company under the KG Group in November 2022, it has been continuously hiring new personnel to grow into a future mobility company and is accelerating technology development to secure future growth capabilities.

As a result, KGM plans to introduce new cars and improved models including the ‘Korando EV’ in June, a coupe-style ‘new model’ utilizing the Torres platform in Q3, and an electric pickup ‘O100’ in Q4.

Moreover, KGM aims to strengthen its electric vehicle lineup, including KR10 and F100, while also launching hybrid products and restructuring its product lineup towards eco-friendly vehicles. Furthermore, they are preparing for the future leap into mobility through connected cars, autonomous vehicles, software-defined vehicles (SDV), and artificial intelligence (AI).

A KGM representative stated, “Through expanding exports to overseas markets and improving our management structure, we realized a profit for the first time in 16 years last year,” and added, “We plan to use this as a stepping stone to make this year a foundational year for a hundred-year strategy and further solidify the ‘KGM brand’ image.”
