Bentley Motors has been selected as the ‘Most Respected Car Company’ in the UK for two consecutive years. On the 12th, Bentley announced that it earned the honor of being ranked No. 1 in the automotive sector in the ‘Most Respected Companies in the UK’ survey conducted by Echo Research.

The ‘Most Respected Companies in the UK’ award has been an ongoing survey since 1990, considered the most authoritative and reputable investigation in the UK, selected through voting by top executives of major companies. This is Bentley’s third time receiving the award, following wins in 2019 and 2023.

This survey targeted 250 companies spanning 25 industries, with Bentley securing the top position by receiving the highest marks in 8 out of 13 evaluation criteria. The categories in which Bentley excelled include: ▲ product and service quality ▲ management quality ▲ financial transparency ▲ innovation capability ▲ long-term value potential ▲ inspiring leadership ▲ capability development and maintenance ▲ corporate competitiveness.

Particular praise was given to Bentley’s unique model lineup, continuous operational performance, and future-oriented ‘Beyond100’ strategy. In 2020, Bentley announced its ‘Beyond100’ strategy, aimed at presenting a new vision for sustainable luxury mobility, declaring that it would invest £2.5 billion over the next 10 years to achieve full electrification by 2030.

Bentley plans to achieve complete carbon neutrality across all manufacturing processes, including supply partners, by 2030. The Crewe factory in the UK, which serves as Bentley’s production base, has already achieved full carbon neutrality as of 2019. The factory promotes sustainability through over 36,000 solar panels, which contribute to 75% of the factory’s power consumption, water recycling facilities, a beekeeping facility with a population of 1 million bees, and a ‘Living Green Wall’ that incorporates live plants for insulation and air purification. In 2023, Bentley launched the ‘Bentley Environmental Foundation’ and began direct investments in various environmental sectors.

Meanwhile, the ‘Most Respected Companies in the UK’ survey is an annual investigation conducted by Echo Research, a UK-based company specializing in corporate and brand reputation. This is the oldest corporate reputation survey in the UK, having started its first survey in 1990 and celebrating its 34th edition this year.
