‘Adrian Hallmark appointed as the new CEO of Aston Martin’

The Aston Martin Board has announced the appointment of Adrian Hallmark, a leader in the ultra-luxury automotive sector, as the new CEO of Aston Martin.

Born in 1962, 61-year-old Adrian Hallmark will officially join Aston Martin as a director and CEO on October 1. He has served as the chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors since 2018 and has over 25 years of experience leading automotive companies such as Bentley, Porsche, and Volkswagen across the US, Europe, and Asia.

The current CEO, Amadeo Felisa, will continue to serve until Adrian Hallmark joins, ensuring a smooth transition of management. Felisa will continue overseeing the launch of new Aston Martin models, including the third-generation sports car set to be announced in the second half of this year, following the successful launch of the DB12 and Vantage, aiming to complete the premiere new front-engine portfolio.

Aston Martin’s chairman, Lawrence Stroll, stated, “When Amadeo Felisa was appointed as CEO, I said he would lead our new growth and development, and now, two years later, we are on the brink of completing an exhilarating new product portfolio, bringing us closer to the vision of becoming the most coveted ultra-luxury British performance brand.” He also expressed gratitude for Felisa’s achievements and contributions to the ultra-luxury automotive industry, acknowledging Hallmark’s arrival as an important milestone prior to moving forward with the new front-engine sports car lineup, which he believes will become an excellent legacy in Hallmark’s career.

Stroll continued, “I believe Adrian Hallmark is a top-level leader in the global automotive industry. He will build on our recent momentum and advance our strategy with unparalleled experience while complementing our world-class leadership.”

Outgoing CEO Amadeo Felisa expressed, “It is an honor to lead Aston Martin during this remarkable era, and I take great pride in the achievements over the past two years that have steered Aston Martin in a positive direction. I am grateful for the strong support from Lawrence Stroll and the Board, as well as my colleagues who have worked diligently on our vision and new strategies.” He concluded, “As we transition to new leadership, I am confident that Adrian Hallmark’s appointment will mark a historic moment for Aston Martin and I am committed to making the new product launches a success before my departure.”

Adrian Hallmark, who is set to become Aston Martin’s new CEO, stated, “Working in the ultra-luxury space, I have witnessed the transformation of the Aston Martin brand and products. I am honored to lead the next chapter alongside Lawrence Stroll, the Board, and the members of the company.” Additionally, he remarked, “Aston Martin’s transformation is one of the most exciting projects in the ultra-luxury automotive industry, and I will leverage all my experience and passion to ensure this iconic brand reaches its potential and achieves greater success while continuing its momentum.”
