Lotte Rental, Korea’s No.1 brand, has been recognized as the leading brand in the rental car sector for the 22nd consecutive year in the 2024 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI), organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).

The K-BPI measures the brand power of products, services, and companies across various industries that represent consumer life in South Korea. Now in its 26th year, it serves as a crucial indicator of domestic brand strength. The 2024 K-BPI survey was conducted over three months, from last October to this January, with about 12,500 general consumers participating.

Lotte Rental achieved high marks across all areas of the K-BPI survey, demonstrating overwhelming dominance in brand loyalty and securing the top position in the rental car sector. By offering all necessary services and differentiated customer experiences for renting, driving, and buying cars, Lotte Rental has solidified its status as the leading brand in Korea’s rental car industry.

In November of last year, Lotte Rental completely revamped its long-term rental car service brand. The newly rebranded long-term rental service for individual and self-employed customers is named ‘Lotte Rental Car My Car’. This signifies a true car service where Lotte Rental takes care of everything, allowing customers to solely enjoy the pleasure of driving. The core keywords for this service are △Care (on-site maintenance) △Benefit (membership benefits) △Safety (car condition diagnosis).

Along with the revamp of the long-term rental car service for individuals, the corporate long-term rental service has been rebranded as ‘Biz Car’. This reflects the intention to support corporate customers’ successful business operations. Biz Car has its core keywords as △Care (various maintenance services) △Saving (cost and time efficiency) △Customizing (customer-specific vehicles). Similar to My Car, it includes on-site maintenance as a standard feature and also offers ‘Connect Pro,’ a specialized business vehicle management solution that improves corporate vehicle operations efficiently.

Based on the best long- and short-term rental car service capabilities in Korea, Lotte Rental offers a ‘2080 Mobility Solution’ to build lifelong customer relationships. Through a full lineup of mobility services that continues from the moment of initial vehicle use, Lotte aims to provide customer mobility convenience and enhance the value of their journeys.

Lee Seung-yeon, Head of Individual Sales at Lotte Rental, stated, “The reason Lotte Rental Car could achieve the honor of being No. 1 in the rental car sector of K-BPI for the 22nd consecutive year is thanks to the customers who love and support Lotte Rental Car.” He added, “In the future, we will continue to enhance customer satisfaction and brand value through ongoing service innovation and the introduction of new products, surpassing even the domestic No. 1 to become a globally leading rental car brand.”
