Ford Korea announced on the 15th of February at IVEX Studio located in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, the official launch of the Mustang’s 7th generation full-change model, the ‘All-New Ford Mustang’ in Korea.

Since its global debut as the legendary 1st generation in 1964, the Mustang celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. With a history of consistent sales without a single production halt, it stands as a world-renowned best-selling sports car, upholding the esteemed reputation of American muscle cars.

In Korea, the Mustang has been loved since the 4th generation model began establishing its design in 1996, followed by the 5th generation in 2005 and the 6th generation in 2015, capturing the hearts of customers.

The All-New Ford Mustang contains a modernized, user-customized interior design that embraces the Mustang’s design heritage while adding a contemporary and edgy look. Completing a three-dimensional design that encompasses all previous generations, it offers the most attractive exterior.

The lowered center area that stretches across the front enhances the vehicle’s width, enhancing its sporty image, while the upper grille design and signature three-part LED headlights draw inspiration from the original Mustang of the 1960s, maximizing its presence.

With a sleek roofline and shortened rear overhang, it recreates the design proportions of the 1st generation Mustang, and the horizontally widened rear design along with quad muffler tips emphasizes dynamism. Furthermore, equipped with 19-inch carbon alloy wheels, it amplifies the unique intensity of the Mustang style.

In the convertible model, a simple operation allows for a fully open insulated fabric roof, providing a sense of freedom, while its compact roof design and independent rear suspension layout offer ample trunk space.

Beneath the Mustang’s striking exterior lies an interior design that has evolved modernly through digitization, welcoming passengers with two curved digital displays of 12.4 inches and 13.2 inches inspired by fighter jets, seamlessly arranged as a single screen to deliver a more intuitive digital customer experience.

The 12.4-inch display located on the driver’s side showcases various animated images based on the Unreal Engine 3D creation tools used in the latest video games, changing according to the drive mode. A Fox Body theme that evokes the nostalgic analog feel of the beloved 3rd generation Mustang’s dashboard has gained popularity. The 13.2-inch center stack display allows for easy touch controls of the media and climate systems, enhancing usability.

The enhanced Mustang experience is evident through various touchpoints. As you approach the vehicle, the Pony puddle lamp illuminates to welcome the driver with the iconic Mustang pony emblem, and upon entering, the ambient light and Mustang splash screen activate to awaken the driver’s instinct. A Remote Rev feature, debuting on the 7th generation Mustang, allows drivers to rev the engine remotely through the key fob, letting them enjoy the robust exhaust note of the Mustang. When activated, the vehicle’s RPM can reach between 3,000 and 5,000, generating the powerful Mustang exhaust sound.

Not forgetting high-quality audio performance, the B&O (Bang & Olufsen®) sound system places 12 high-performance speakers strategically throughout the cabin. With seamless compatibility with Sync 4, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, drivers can enjoy their personalized driving playlists. The center console is equipped with a wireless phone charging pad while new USB ports have been placed at the top of the driver’s seat to enhance convenience.
