Hyundai Motors will launch a comprehensive care program called ‘EV Every Care’ to take responsibility for customers’ EV lives, from purchasing electric vehicles to charging them, assuring used car value, and providing vehicle exchange support.

‘EV Every Care’ offers benefits tailored to the entire lifecycle of electric vehicles, including ▲ charging credits or home charger support (installation costs included) ▲ assurance of used car value ▲ support for new vehicle exchanges.

This program aims to help customers purchase Hyundai electric vehicles with peace of mind while enhancing satisfaction with EV usage and promoting the distribution of electric vehicles in the country.

From Tuesday, the 20th, customers who purchase a new Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, or Kona Electric will have access to ‘EV Every Care’. (However, only the EV purchase charging benefits will be provided for new Ioniq 5 customers).

To alleviate the burden of charging costs and improve access to charging stations, Hyundai will support charging benefits worth up to 1.6 million won.

Customers who purchase new electric vehicles can choose between charging credits or support for the installation of home chargers, depending on their charging environment.

Customers in urban areas, where public charging stations are frequently used, can receive benefits of up to 1.6 million won in credits (equivalent to about two years’ worth of charging costs), while those living in single-family homes can receive support for the installation of a home charger valued at 1.6 million won.

To minimize customer anxiety about the resale value of electric vehicles, Hyundai provides benefits that guarantee the residual value of existing electric vehicles.

Customers who purchase an Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6, or Kona Electric and sell their vehicle within three years will be guaranteed up to 55% of the purchase price when exchanging for a new vehicle from Hyundai (this is based on the actual purchase price with government subsidies applied and can be higher).

Hyundai will also support new vehicle exchanges in case of total loss accidents within one year of vehicle delivery, minimizing customers’ financial losses.

If customers who signed an agreement to use the program exchange their vehicle for a new Hyundai, they will receive support for the loss costs of the damaged vehicle and registration fees for the new vehicle.

This service effectively compensates for the exchange costs due to total loss accidents, and Hyundai has stated that there will be no separate restrictions on the types of exchange vehicles or powertrains (this applies when exchanging for Hyundai passenger/RV vehicles, excluding Genesis and commercial vehicles).

A Hyundai representative commented, “Through the ‘EV Every Care’ program, which takes responsibility for all aspects of the EV lifestyle, from purchase to ownership, used car value assurance, and vehicle exchange support, we hope to alleviate the vague anxieties of customers contemplating purchasing electric vehicles. We will always strive to be a brand that customers can choose with confidence and trust, prioritizing their needs.”
