Hyundai will start pre-orders for the Staria hybrid model and the refreshed 2024 Staria model from the 28th of next month (Wednesday).
The Staria Hybrid is a newly added model for customers who prefer eco-friendly vehicles, equipped with a 1.6 turbo hybrid powertrain, while the 2024 Staria enhances its characteristics with improved convenience and safety features across different trims.
By integrating the 1.6 turbo hybrid engine into the Staria Hybrid, Hyundai has increased customer satisfaction for those seeking economic and environmental value, securing its competitive edge by including specialized specifications and customer-preferred features as standard.
The Staria 1.6 Turbo Hybrid boasts excellent performance with outstanding fuel efficiency, achieving up to 13 km/l, along with a total system output of 245 horsepower (engine output of 180 horsepower) and a maximum system torque of 37.4 kg∙m (engine torque of 27.0 kg∙m). Additionally, the Staria Hybrid is equipped with a specialized feature called ‘Traffic Jam Specialized Control’. This system strategically adjusts the shifting pattern and engine start timing based on navigation road information and the vehicle’s driving condition, reducing unnecessary operations during acceleration and deceleration in low-speed congestion, thus enhancing ride comfort.
Furthermore, Hyundai has equipped the Staria Hybrid with high-end features as standard, including ▲ Front Parking Distance Warning ▲ Hi-Pass (automatic toll payment system) ▲ Fine Dust Sensor, Air Purification Mode, Auto Defog, and After Blowing features, all included in the full-auto air conditioning system ▲ 8-inch Display Audio ▲ Rear Monitor.
The 2024 Staria, being a refreshed model, has improved its basic product features with items such as ▲ C-type USB Charger ▲ 4th Generation Smart Key in Hyundai logo shape ▲ 2D Aluminum Emblem.
The front parking distance warning and Hi-Pass have been made standard from the modern trim to enhance convenience, and the operation speed of the power sliding door closure has been reduced with an additional warning sound for enhanced safety.
The premium model of the 2024 Staria, the Lounge, has unified the wheel color to black high-gloss, enhancing its luxury feel.
In addition, a new rain sensor has been added to automatically control the wiper speed and operation time upon detecting rain, while the sun visor lamp has been changed to LED, and a walk-in switch for the second row has been applied to enhance convenience for the 7-seater version.
Hyundai has also included a sliding bed option selected through a customization idea festival for the cargo model of the 2024 Staria. The sliding bed utilizes sliding rails, allowing for convenient loading and unloading of cargo, accommodating a maximum of 300 kg, and is available with either the hybrid or LPI engine options.
The customization idea festival is an event in which customers participate, giving significance to the sliding bed as it directly reflects the real needs of customers in mass production vehicles.

Hyundai will also hold an event for customers who complete the Staria contract by March 31 (Sunday), offering various prizes through a lottery for participants.
