Audi Korea has launched the ‘All-New SQ7 TFSI’ for the first time in the country.
The ‘All-New Audi SQ7 TFSI’, newly introduced in South Korea, is a high-performance model of Audi’s flagship premium SUV, the ‘Q7’, embodying practicality with its spacious interior and the thrilling allure of a powerful sports car. The ‘S’ in Audi’s high-performance lineup signifies ‘Sovereign Performance’, showcasing unparalleled technology that inherits motorsport DNA and delivers both comfortable and powerful driving experiences.
The ‘All-New SQ7 TFSI’ is equipped with a 4.0L V8 gasoline direct-injection turbocharged (TFSI) engine and an 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, producing a powerful performance of 507 horsepower and 78.51 kg.m of torque. It accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited) and a combined fuel economy of 6.7 km per liter (5.9 km in the city and 8.0 km on the highway). Combining this with Audi’s signature quattro all-wheel-drive system, torque can be distributed variably between the front and rear axles as needed. Additionally, the ‘Audi Drive Select’ enables changing driving modes based on conditions, while the ‘Adaptive Air Suspension (Sport)’, Active Roll Stabilizer, and ceramic brakes enhance control and allow for various driving modes suited to S models, from sporty to comfortable.
Sporty design features enhance the exterior of the ‘All-New SQ7 TFSI’, such as a black package applied to the front and rear bumpers, grille, roof rails, windows, and side moldings, alongside the SQ7 badge and a set of 22-inch 5-arm edge style wheels that highlight the premium and dynamic look exclusive to the S model. Additional features include an adaptive windshield wiper with a built-in washer spray function and a panoramic sunroof that lets natural light in, coupled with power folding, heated, anti-glare, and memory function side mirrors.
At the front, the ‘HD Matrix LED headlights’ provide a wider field of vision with densely arranged rays that are brighter than standard LEDs, while the Audi laser light system demonstrates Audi’s advanced technology with LED lighting. Both the headlights and taillights feature dynamic turn signals with adjustable brightness, enhancing visibility and safety.
Inside, the interior design features carbon vector inlays and a black headlining (Dinamica), the Nappa leather package on the dashboard, door armrests, center console, and shoulder areas. Front seats come with ventilation, massage, and heating functions, integrated into S-sport seats made from Valcona leather, further emphasizing the S model’s unique touch with aluminum pedals.
Additional comfort provisions include a manual sunshade, soft door closing, paddle shifters, and a three-spoke multifunction electric steering wheel with heating, contributing to meticulous attention to detail.
The ‘All-New SQ7 TFSI’ features a third-row seat, allowing for up to seven passengers, and the third-row seats can be folded down to increase storage space.
Audi has integrated various innovative high-tech features into the ‘All-New SQ7 TFSI’, designed with the safety of drivers, passengers, and pedestrians in mind. Features such as ‘Audi Side Assist’, which detects blind spots and vehicles approaching from behind and sends warnings through the side mirrors, along with ‘Front/Rear Parking Assistance Systems’ and ‘Surround View Display’ with a ‘360° camera’, enhance safe and convenient parking experiences. Furthermore, options like ‘Pre-sense 360°’, ‘Park Assist Plus’, and ‘Adaptive Cruise Assist’ automatically adjust speed while maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead to assist safe driving.
Moreover, the ‘12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus’ and dual touchscreens with haptic feedback for ‘MMI Navigation Plus’ and ‘MMI Touch Response’ offer clear and high-resolution displays with user-friendly layouts that allow precise and intuitive control of all vehicle information.
Other features include a ‘Head-Up Display’, ‘4-Zone Climate Control’, and ‘Dynamic All-Wheel Steering’, creating a more comfortable driving environment, complemented by the Bang & Olufsen premium 3D sound system (23 channels, 23 speakers, 1920 watts) that elevates the driving experience.
The price of the ‘All-New SQ7 TFSI’ is 148 million won (including VAT).
In addition, Audi guarantees a basic warranty called the “Audi Warranty” for all Audi models sold through official dealers for five years or up to 150,000 km (whichever comes first). Audi also offers the ‘Audi Car Service Plus’ program that provides regular inspections and replacement of consumable parts to maintain vehicles, ensuring that essential replacement parts and services are available in line with the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals, all without extra costs at Audi’s official service centers.
