T-money GO has added air and rental car services, officially advancing towards a regional Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platform. With T-money GO, not only can you seamlessly use public transport, but you can also enjoy comfortable long-distance travel through regional transportation.

On the 22nd, T-money announced that their integrated transport service, T-money GO, has officially included regional transport services (air/rental cars) to enhance the quality of service and accelerate the nationwide implementation of MaaS.

The launch of T-money GO’s air and rental car services is expected to significantly improve service quality.

The scope of T-money GO’s regional transport options is expanding from traditional express and intercity buses to include air travel and rental cars. Furthermore, this significantly increases the transportation choices for T-money GO customers. The diversification of transport modes is set to foster more integration with public transport, distinguishing T-money GO from other MaaS apps. This could present an opportunity for T-money GO’s public transport revitalization project to expand nationwide. Currently, T-money GO is enjoying great feedback from metropolitan customers through a lineup that includes buses, subways, taxi hailing (T-money onda), express and intercity buses, as well as various PM options (such as bicycle rentals, scooters, and more) alongside the ‘GO mileage’ program that offers benefits the more you travel.

As T-money GO spreads across the country through regional transport, it is anticipated that all citizens will be able to enjoy T-money GO’s diverse transport options and GO mileage benefits.

In celebration of the opening of the air and rental car services, T-money GO has prepared a range of exciting offers.

Starting from the 22nd, T-money GO will provide ‘3 types of rental car discount coupons.’ (3,000 won discount for payments over 100,000 won / 5,000 won discount for payments over 200,000 won / 10,000 won discount for payments over 300,000 won.) Additionally, they will offer a benefit of ‘7% unlimited GO mileage accumulation’ (no limits on the number of times or amounts). Unlike other services, T-money GO allows users to combine coupon discounts and mileage accumulation, making it possible to travel at the lowest cost when planning year-end travels.

Regarding this initiative, Choi Dong-wook, the general manager of T-money’s Mobility division, stated, “T-money GO is growing into an essential app for public transport, and with the launch of air and rental car services, it has stepped up to become the representative regional MaaS app in Korea.” He added, “As the year-end approaches, we hope many customers can benefit from the various offers that T-money GO has prepared. Moving forward, T-money aims to collaborate with those in the transportation industry, including public transport, express and intercity bus operators, and taxis, to realize a fully integrated public transport mobility service.”
