Lamborghini’s revenue has exceeded €2 billion in just the third quarter. The company is having its best year ever, achieving record metrics in sales, revenue, and operating profit.

As of September 2023, revenue has increased by 5.2% compared to the same period last year, and operating profit has surpassed the total for 2022, reaching €618 million.

Stephan Winkelmann, President & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated, “We are continuously breaking records and proving that our decisions and direction are correct,” adding, “Lamborghini is preparing to deliver its first plug-in hybrid model Revuelto to customers in line with our electrification strategy, ‘Direzione Cor Tauri.'”

Paolo Poma, CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, noted, “The indicators from the past nine months confirm that our strategy has been successful,” explaining, “Surpassing last year’s total annual operating profit showcases our potential. We aim to maintain this momentum until the end of the year to conclude with our best year yet.”

Lamborghini recorded a total of 7,744 vehicle sales by September this year, reflecting a 4.2% increase compared to the same period in 2022. The internal combustion engine models Urus and Huracan accounted for the largest sales share. Production of these two models is scheduled to conclude in the second half of 2024, after which they will be hybridized.

By region, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) accounted for 3,117 vehicles, the Americas for 2,728 vehicles, and the Asia-Pacific region for 1,899 vehicles. By country, the United States led with 2,342 vehicles delivered, followed by Germany (709), the UK (688), China/Hong Kong/Macau (643), Japan (434), the Middle East (370), and Italy (336).

In the third quarter of 2023, Lamborghini conducted various activities as part of its electrification strategy, ‘Direzione Cor Tauri.’ At the recently held Monterey Car Week in August, Lamborghini introduced the Lanzador concept car, which will be the first fully electric vehicle produced starting in 2028.

Additionally, in September, Lamborghini was recognized as a 2023/2024 Sustainability Excellence Company by the German Institute for Quality and Finance (ITQF). The institute selects companies dedicated to environmental protection every year. This award is a result of Lamborghini’s continued focus and efforts towards environmental issues, including its electrification strategy.

Meanwhile, to support sustained growth, Lamborghini has been expanding its network of official dealers. In the third quarter of this year, four additional official dealers were added in Sapporo, Japan; Lugano, Switzerland; Verona, Italy; and Budapest, Hungary. Currently, there are 182 official dealers operating across 54 markets worldwide, supporting Lamborghini’s growth.
