Tire changes right in front of your home. Additionally, you can purchase amusement park tickets and ski season passes with just the push of a button. All of this is made possible through the Tmap and KakaoT apps. Both services go beyond traditional navigation to scratch the itches of consumers with services like tire changes and leisure ticket sales.

Since the second half of last year, Tmap has partnered with the tire discount specialist Cartini to launch online tire sales. The purchasing method is simple: by clicking the tire emoji in the driving score section of the Tmap app, users are redirected to Cartini’s online shop. Tire prices are discounted based on Tmap’s safe driving scores, with discounts of up to 56% compared to market prices.

After selecting and paying for the desired tires, a technician visits your home parking lot to install them on your vehicle. Throughout this process, there are no labor or delivery fees, and no additional charges on-site.

In busy lifestyles, this service saves both time and money, eliminating the need to drive to service centers or tire shops for tire changes. A Tmap representative emphasized, “Besides tires, users can also purchase dashcams and window tinting based on their driving scores at the lowest prices compared to the market.”

Additionally, Kakao Mobility has started selling leisure tickets this month. The leisure ticket sales will be operated by Kakao Mobility, integrating sales channels previously managed by Yanolja into KakaoT.

Leisure tickets range from Everland and Lotte World theme park tickets to various regional leisure activities, including sports experiences and exhibitions. While traveling domestically, you can purchase leisure tickets in advance according to your desired itinerary, greatly enhancing your travel convenience.

Kakao Mobility stated, “The leisure ticket purchasing service is designed to boost domestic tourism and regional economies by introducing services from domestic travel companies within the KakaoT travel tab. In line with the ‘Visit Korea Year’, we plan to strengthen our partnerships with small domestic travel agencies to provide international tourists visiting Korea with access to local travel products.”
