Volvo Cars Korea announced that to celebrate the domestic unveiling of its new premium electric SUV, the ‘EX30’, they will hold a pop-up store called ‘UNBOX YOUR EX30’ at Peaches Do Won in Seongsu-dong, Seoul until December 10. Following its first domestic reveal on the 28th, the Volvo EX30 has achieved 1,000 pre-orders in just two days, generating a significant response from consumers.

The Volvo EX30 is a pure electric SUV that embodies Volvo’s new brand vision for an electrified future, incorporating innovation in all areas, including design, interior, safety technologies, and convenience specifications.

With a new family look for Volvo electric vehicles, the EX30 features ▲ an interior completed with new eco-friendly materials and innovative spatial design ▲ advanced safety technologies that reflect Volvo’s 96-year safety heritage ▲ next-generation connectivity specialized for electric vehicles, encompassing everything Volvo envisions.

Targeting a new customer demand distinct from previous models, the pop-up store ‘UNBOX YOUR EX30’ has been designed as a conceptual space to experience the diverse allure of the EX30. The reception area, ‘EX30 Surprise Garden,’ showcases a structure shaped like the new steering wheel design applied to the EX30, alongside an actual EX30 vehicle on display, adding a photogenic charm.

The program experience zone, ‘Small Funny Land’, allows visitors to create EX30 merchandise through activities like making art postcards, stickers, and pin buttons as well as drawing. The EX30 unboxing zone, ‘Unbox the Surprise Box,’ features an actual EX30 vehicle alongside a display of eco-friendly materials from the interior of the EX30 sent from Sweden, as well as an AR experience area, which lets visitors feel the varieties and surprises of the EX30 directly. Additionally, a special photo keyring booth is set up for guests to create their own EX30 photo keyring, capturing unique moments.

Using an ID card received upon entry, guests can complete various missions, such as finding hidden surprise boxes in the EX30, participating in quizzes about the innovative materials used in the EX30, and experiencing AR steering, to collect keyrings. Completing these tasks unlocks a surprise box containing special rewards. The surprise box may include Volvo lifestyle goods, Peaches products, and coupons for Volvo signature drinks like EX30 popping milk and desserts, developed in collaboration with Peaches Do Won cream shop.

Meanwhile, the ‘UNBOX YOUR EX30’ pop-up store can be accessed through Naver reservation or by visiting the site directly. Guests who reserve a spot through Naver will receive a ‘Volvo Cars 2024 Calendar Package’ on a first-come, first-served basis for the first 100 visitors each day.
