Porsche Seongsu Service Center

Porsche Korea has simultaneously opened the Porsche Center Seongsu and Studio Songpa. The operation will be managed by Seyoung Mobility, Porsche Korea’s official dealer. The opening ceremony for Porsche Center Seongsu and Studio Songpa took place on the 9th.

Detlef von Platen, a member of the Executive Board of Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, stated, “Porsche Center Seongsu and Studio Songpa are designed and planned based on enhancing customer experience and sustainability themes. We look forward to providing attractive products and unique brand experiences to our Korean customers who lead culture and trends.”

First, with a total floor area of 2,927m2 (885 pyeong), Porsche Center Seongsu is established as the largest official Porsche center in the metropolitan area, comprising six aboveground floors. It will operate as a comprehensive center capable of selling new and certified pre-owned vehicles, as well as offering lifestyle products and repair services.

The entire exterior features Porsche’s corporate architectural style ‘Destination Porsche,’ characterized by facade design. On the third floor, an open terrace and Porsche bar provide an experience where visitors can enjoy nature and leisure in the urban setting.

Additionally, the first deployment of exterior solar panels in Porsche centers globally showcases the brand’s strong commitment to sustainability. The solar panels installed at Porsche Center Seongsu will generate a total of 39.2 kW of power, expected to reduce electricity consumption by an average of 28.3 MWh annually. This is equivalent to the electricity consumption of 10 households in Seoul for one year. Furthermore, a greenhouse gas reduction effect equivalent to planting 2,050 pine trees, or 13.2 tons, is also anticipated.

Alongside Porsche Center Seongsu, the newly opened Studio Songpa spans a total floor area of 1,471 m2 (445 pyeong), established as a high-rise studio with different concepts on each floor, making it a first for Porsche.

The Porsche Platz bar on the second floor offers drinks and desserts developed for visitors, while the third floor features a customer consultation area. The fourth floor, named “Tteul,” applies traditional Hanok style, allowing guests to experience both Korean classical beauty and Porsche’s brand identity. Additionally, personalized deliveries occur on the fifth floor, providing a more special Porsche journey for customers.

Moreover, Porsche Center Seongsu and Studio Songpa operate five and four fast chargers, respectively, and support electric vehicle lifestyles through Porsche’s first 24-hour charging lounge.

Holger Geermann, CEO of Porsche Korea, remarked, “As Songpa and Seongsu are prominent cultural and artistic centers of Seoul, the opening of these future-oriented centers reflecting Korean lifestyles and electric vehicle trends has further enhanced brand accessibility. I hope Korean customers will immerse themselves in the Porsche brand experience and feel Porsche’s commitment to Korea at the newly established Porsche Center Songpa and Seongsu.”

Jang In-woo, CEO of Seyoung Mobility, stated, “Since operating the ‘Porsche Now Seongsu’ pop-up store from last November, we have engaged with over 20,000 Porsche fans. Since March of this year, we have been providing quick maintenance services at the ‘Porsche Service Center Songpa.’ We will continue to prioritize customer satisfaction and convenience in our operations.”

Porsche Center Seongsu and Studio Songpa will officially open on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, offering various Porsche vehicle test drives and consultations through reservations.
