KG Mobility held an inauguration ceremony for its new Regional Service Center (Gunpo).

On the 5th, the ‘Regional Service Center (Gunpo) Inauguration Ceremony’ was attended by key figures such as KG Mobility’s Chairman Kwak Jae-sun, CEO Jung Yong-won, Union Chairman Seon Mok-rae, and representatives from partner service networks, along with Gunpo Mayor Ha Eun-ho and National Assembly member Lee Hak-young. The ceremony included a progress report, speeches, congratulatory messages, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a tour of the state-of-the-art maintenance facilities and ancillary amenities.

Chairman Kwak Jae-sun expressed his gratitude to the various related institutions and construction officials who actively supported the successful construction of the Regional Service Center (Gunpo). He emphasized the commitment to providing differentiated services to customers in Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan area through the new center and to growing as a better company.

He continued to commend the employees for their efforts to ensure a seamless transition of service operations during the move and the start of regular operations.

Mayor Ha Eun-ho, in his commemorative speech, expressed hope that many visitors would come to the KG Mobility Regional Service Center (Gunpo) and that it would foster mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses. He also committed to providing administrative support for better integration into the region.

National Assembly member Lee Hak-young expressed his gratitude for KG Mobility choosing Gunpo for the center’s location, stating that he hopes the Regional Service Center (Gunpo) will serve as a control tower for KG Mobility’s services and play a pivotal role in its global development.

Meanwhile, the KG Mobility Regional Service Center began construction in June 2022 and has now completed the Gunpo facility and maintenance permit requirements (installation of equipment/devices). It strives to be a service control tower and flagship site, dedicated to providing the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

The newly opened Regional Service Center spans over 4,000 pyeong with three floors of maintenance facilities that include reception areas and workspaces, as well as two floors of office space, capable of servicing over 16,000 vehicles annually.

The service center is equipped with body correction equipment such as ▲ latest panel-select equipment ▲ jig equipment and painting ▲ sanding rooms ▲ dedicated EV maintenance spaces ▲ insulated reinforced tiles ▲ EV charging stations/ dedicated facilities ▲ new hybrid inspection equipment ▲ heavy-duty lifts for campervans, and various amenities including customer lounges and a cafeteria to provide optimal satisfaction to customers.

KG Mobility operates a service network of over 300 locations nationwide, including two directly operated service centers, 42 maintenance sites, 11 maintenance centers, and 258 service plazas, including the Gunpo Regional Service Center. The company plans to expand its service network into key regions across the country to enhance customer aftercare management.
