Bentley Motors has unveiled the ultimate car audio system, “Naim for Mulliner,” developed exclusively for the limited edition coachbuilt model “Batur,” which will only be produced for 18 owners worldwide.
Naim for Mulliner is the result of over 10,000 hours of research and development, adopting hardware of a different dimension and undergoing meticulous calibration of the entire system.
Bentley already offers the highly acclaimed car audio system, “Naim for Bentley,” but this bespoke system for the limited edition model aims to set a new benchmark in automotive audio.
Building on more than 15 years of partnership with Naim, Bentley has embarked on a new challenge to develop a system that offers a musical experience of a different dimension, featuring precision, clarity, warm yet powerful output, transparent tonalities, and immersive sound that are not found in conventional car audio.
The development of the Naim for Mulliner system saw collaboration with Naim, a representative of British high-end audio, and Focal, a leader in French high-end speakers, with a total of 56 modifications and optimizations carried out to effectively drive the 20 speakers in the vehicle.
The Naim for Mulliner system consists of 6 tweeters, 9 mid-range speakers, 2 woofers, 2 bass transducers, and 1 subwoofer. All speaker drivers are newly developed based on Focal’s top-of-the-line “Grand Utopia” speaker, featuring specially crafted aluminum/magnesium “M” cone designs for the tweeters and mid-range speakers.
Each component, including the tweeters, speakers, and woofers, has been finely tuned to achieve silky treble, smooth audio transitions, optimum balance, and clarity, providing the ultimate sound experience that can be attained in a car.
The placement of the 20 speakers was selected to achieve perfect harmony, with additional finishing materials and reinforcements applied to the Batur to block acoustic distortion and external noise intrusion, ensuring the ultimate implementation of sound by Naim for Mulliner.
The Naim for Mulliner audio system is an exclusive option for the Bentley Mulliner Batur vehicle, available only to the 18 owners of the Batur. The pricing for the Naim for Mulliner option is £25,000, and it supports various music application connections.
