Lotus has unveiled the Emeya, its first four-door hyper GT, at the Emeya studio located in New York City.

The Lotus Emeya represents the culmination of 75 years of engineering and design excellence, setting a new benchmark for the unique driving experience that Lotus cars are known for. Through the integration of cutting-edge technology, it aims to provide drivers with unparalleled driving pleasure and top-tier performance.

This newly introduced Lotus Emeya is expected to establish itself as one of the fastest GT cars in the world. The top model features a high-output dual motor setup, promising a top speed of 250 km/h and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.8 seconds.

In addition to its driving performance, the charging capabilities are also outstanding. The Lotus Emeya can travel approximately 150 km with just 5 minutes of charging using a 350 kW DC fast charger, and can achieve up to 80% of the total range within just 15 minutes of charging.

As a new addition to Lotus’s all-electric luxury lifestyle lineup, the Emeya is expected to bolster Lotus’s vision of becoming a global performance automotive brand by 2028. Production is set to begin in 2024, with more detailed information expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Meanwhile, Kolon Mobility Group, which established Lotus Cars Korea following a partnership agreement with Lotus Cars in May 2023, exclusively distributes Lotus cars in Korea as the sole official importer.
