Ford has unveiled the Mustang Mark-E Rally, boasting new performance and agility.

Donna Dixon, chief engineer for the Mustang Mark-E, stated, “Just a year ago, this vehicle was merely an idea, but the passion and creativity of the Model-E team made it a reality. We have always explored new realms of electric vehicle performance and are excited to introduce the Mustang Mark-E Rally, tailored for customers seeking a unique adventure, featuring a tuned suspension, a high-performance dual-motor electric powertrain, and a special design.”

The Mustang Mark-E Rally is equipped with a more powerful powertrain than the standard Mustang Mark-E, showcasing a minimum of 650 lb-ft of torque and 480 horsepower. Additionally, it features a suspension that is raised 20mm higher than the existing model, specially-designed springs, Magnetorheological dampers, and 385mm Brembo brake rotors, all of which contribute to its uniqueness. It also includes a 91kWh lithium-ion battery, providing an estimated range of approximately 250 miles.

This battery is expected to charge from 10% to 80% in about 36 minutes and 30 seconds when using a DC fast charger. Inspired by the long history of Ford rally cars, it comes with rugged rally-style alloy wheels and various features designed for off-road conditions to maintain stable performance on rough terrains. Additionally, design details influenced by the Ford Focus, including a rear spoiler, enhance its aesthetic appeal.
