Hyundai is offering special discounts for electric vehicle customers.

Hyundai announced on the 25th (Monday) that in response to the government’s temporary expansion of electric vehicle purchase subsidies, it will operate the ‘EV Sale Festa’ to provide discounts until the end of the year.

Specifically, Hyundai plans to offer discounts based on the standard price for each model during the ‘EV Sale Festa’: ▲ Ioniq 5 4 million won ▲ Ioniq 6 4 million won ▲ Kona EV 2 million won.

As a result, customers purchasing an Ioniq 5 will receive a benefit of 4 million won (manufacturer discount of 3.2 million won and electric vehicle charging credit of 800,000 won), plus an additional 800,000 won in government subsidies, resulting in a total discount of 4.8 million won.

Hyundai Motor Group is also expanding its ultra-fast charging infrastructure through the ‘E-pit,’ a key initiative for building the domestic electric vehicle ecosystem.

The E-pit charging stations are designed to enhance customers’ convenience in charging their electric vehicles and contribute to the promotion of electric vehicles in the country. They are characterized by having the industry’s top-level ultra-fast charging equipment with an output of 350kW.

As of the 25th (Monday), Hyundai Motor Group operates a total of 214 E-pit charging stations in various urban and highway locations, including the Hwaseong Rest Area on the West Coast Expressway, the Euljiro Center One, and the National Science Museum, with plans to continue expanding the ultra-fast charging infrastructure.

A Hyundai representative stated, “We have prepared discount benefits in response to the expansion of electric vehicle purchase subsidy policies as a way to thank our customers for their support and love,” and added, “We have a variety of popular Hyundai electric vehicles ready, so we hope that customers considering vehicle purchases will take a keen interest in this offer.”
