Volkswagen Korea has provided its flagship models, including the ID.4, Touareg, Arteon, and Golf, to the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘악귀,’ showcasing the allure of the brand.

First aired on June 23, ‘악귀’ (translated as Evil Spirit) is a Korean-style occult mystery drama that follows a woman possessed by an evil spirit and a man who can see this spirit, as they delve into a series of mysterious deaths. With the meeting of genre master writer Kim Eun-hee and actors Kim Tae-ri and Oh Jung-se, expectations were high before its airing, and within just two episodes, the drama recorded a viewership rating of 10%, making it a hot topic.

The all-electric SUV ID.4 appears as the vehicle of folklore professor Yeom Hae-sang, a wealthy man tracing the evil spirit, capturing the viewers’ attention. The ID.4 embodies Volkswagen’s SUV design identity while exuding a strong presence on the road as it investigates the events alongside the main characters.

In addition to the ID.4, models like the Touareg, Arteon, and Golf will appear in various scenes throughout the series, further enhancing the immersive experience.

The Touareg, known for its excellent ride comfort as befitting a flagship model, features a striking yet restrained design, combining cutting-edge technology, solidifying its position in the domestic premium SUV market.

The Arteon, regarded as the most beautiful sedan in the brand’s history, features a stylish design, characteristic sturdy driving feel of German sedans, along with rich safety and convenience features, setting a new standard for premium sedans.

The Golf, which has fostered a legion of ‘Golf maniacs’ over the decades, is celebrated for its dynamic performance, top-level safety and convenience features in its class, along with excellent economy, thus becoming the most reasonable imported entry-level car.
