After implementing Hyundai’s ‘Sales Honor Reward System’, a remarkable individual has emerged as the second to achieve a cumulative sale of 7,000 vehicles.

On the 10th, Hyundai announced that Sales Director Choi Jin-sung (aged 56) from the Seodaemun Central Branch has reached the impressive milestone of 7,000 cumulative car sales.

Director Choi has been with Hyundai since 1996, achieving this significant record after 28 years of dedicated service in the sales field.

Only two individuals have been able to reach the 7,000 cumulative sales mark since the inception of Hyundai’s Sales Honor Reward System.

The Sales Honor Reward System awards titles and prizes for cumulative sales milestones: achieving 2,000 sales earns the title ‘Sales Artisan’, 3,000 ‘Sales Master’, 4,000 ‘Sales Sage’, and 5,000 ‘Sales Grandmaster’.

Director Choi previously received the ‘Sales Grandmaster’ title back in 2018 after achieving 5,000 cumulative sales.

Additionally, Director Choi has been selected as one of the top 1-10 salespeople nationwide in the ‘National Sales King’ program more than 10 times, based on annual sales figures.

When asked about the secret to his achievement of 7,000 cumulative sales, Director Choi stated, “I still have my weapon, the sales flyer, in my hands. I believe winning people’s hearts is the toughest job in the world, but I devoted myself to winning my customers’ hearts.”

He further stated, “Sales are essential for both the company and the customers, so I will continue to challenge myself to achieve even higher goals beyond the 7,000 cumulative sales milestone.”

Hyundai has awarded Director Choi with a plaque and prize money, which he has donated fully to support community development. Hyundai supports recipients of the Sales Honor Reward System if they wish to donate their prize money.

Notably, the car purchased by Director Choi’s 7,000th customer was the G80 electric model.

The G80 electric model is the first electric vehicle from Genesis and sets a new standard for premium large electric sedans.

Meanwhile, Hyundai continues to operate various reward systems, including the ‘The Class Awards’ program, which rewards annual sales figures across different ranges, alongside the Sales Honor Reward System and the National Sales King program.
