The Exsta Racing Team, sponsored by Kumho Tire and led by Director Shin Young-hak, achieved a double podium finish at the CJ Logistics Super Race Championship Round 4 ‘Inje Night Race’, held on the 8th at Inje Speedium in Gangwon Province.

Driver Lee Chang-wook displayed outstanding skill and stable race management throughout Round 4, claiming victory as the ‘Emperor of the Night’ in his CJ Super Race debut. Starting from pole position after qualifying first, Lee led from start to finish, achieving a ‘Pole to Win’ and marking his second victory of the season following the opening event.

In addition, driver Lee Chan-jun of the Exsta Racing Team, despite starting from the 6th grid with a 100kg ‘handicap weight’ due to consecutive wins in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, made a remarkable climb to finish 3rd. Inje Speedium is known for its significant elevation changes among domestic circuits, which poses a challenge for drivers carrying handicap weights. Nevertheless, Lee Chan-jun overcame these limitations to secure the last podium position in Round 4.

Since its founding, the Exsta Racing Team has dominated Rounds 1 to 4 (Lee Chang-wook in Rounds 1 and 4, Lee Chan-jun in Rounds 2 and 3), accumulating a total of 150 ‘team ranking points’ and widening the gap from the 2nd place team, continuing their lead. In the driver ranking points, Lee Chan-jun and Lee Chang-wook also hold the 1st and 2nd places respectively, bringing them closer to the overall championship.

Expressing his joy at winning, Lee Chang-wook stated, “I am very happy to hold the title of ‘Emperor of the Night.’ The tires were durable, allowing me to manage the race comfortably, and I will show good performances in the remaining races as well.”

Director Shin Young-hak, leading the Exsta Racing Team, expressed, “We achieved the glory of winning 4 consecutive rounds for the first time since the team’s inception. Based on Kumho Tire’s advanced racing tire technology, we will do our best to reclaim the champion title.”
