Porsche delivered a total of 167,354 vehicles in the first half of 2023, marking a 15% increase compared to the same period last year.

By region, both Europe and the German market showed remarkable growth with double-digit percentage increases compared to the previous year. In Europe, 36,574 units were delivered, reflecting a 23% increase year-over-year, while in Germany, 17,118 units were sold, up 24%. The North American market saw a 12% increase with 41,937 units sold. Despite challenging market conditions, the largest single market, China, experienced an 8% increase with 43,832 units delivered compared to last year. Other markets also saw sales rise by 16%, totaling 27,893 units.

Product-wise, Porsche’s SUV models once again led the demand. The Macan had a notable demand surge, selling 47,755 units, which is a 26% increase compared to last year, while the Cayenne followed with 46,884 units sold, marking a 12% growth.

The iconic sports car 911, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, maintained its upward trend with 26,124 units sold, reflecting a 21% increase. The pure electric Taycan faced supply chain difficulties, resulting in a 5% decrease with 17,991 units sold.

The Panamera experienced a 13% increase, reaching 17,565 units sold. Likewise, the 718 Boxster and Cayman models sold 11,035 units, up 13% from the previous year.
